"Viel geschrieben ....Much created"



Eigentlich hätte ich die Kerzen an meiner Herbstdeko anzünden müssen, denn ohne es zu merken habe ich schon 1oo Posts geschrieben.
I would have had the candles light to my fall table decoration, because I had created 100 posts.
Luna hat es sich inzwischen unter dem Tisch gemütlich gemacht.
In the meantime Luna made it herself cosy under the table.
Nun hab ich sie geweckt...
Now I woke her...
Kaum ist es Herbst, beziehen die Katzen wieder ihre Lieblingsplätze. Luzie verteidigt ihren Bankplatz auch zur Not mit den Krallen.
Now it is fall and the cats visits their favourite places. Luzie defends her bench against the other cats. Today the fur is cleaned.

Luna´s Gift
Luna really loves her humans....
Each day we get one or more mice. She never eat them herself...no...she gives us her catch. Luzie and Frieda eat their catched mice...but Luna does not eat it....
I´m always so sorry for the mice, but it is the cats job to catch them.

Rundgang durch den Garten.

Der Herbst naht und heute habe ich für Euch die letzten Blumen in meinem Garten festgehalten und zusammengestellt.

Cats on tuesday

It´s a rainy day "again" in North-Germany. There is not much to tell today, except it is wet outside....
...it is too wet for the cats and they want to come in...
This is the window of the kitchen. At first Frieda tries to come in and then Luna stands before the window....
...Luna can´t wait...look this video

Jahreszeitentisch

Bei uns wird der kleine Tisch am Fenster (ihr kennt ihn sicher vom Luna-Video) immer als Jahreszeitentisch genutzt. Es ist auf dem Kalender zwar noch nicht Herbst, aber das Wetter ist herbstlich und die Natur hat schon reichlich Früchte gebracht. Hier sammeln auch die Kinder, was sie finden.

The small table on the window, you know it from the Luna-Video, is always decorated with the seasons. On the calendar it isn´t autum, but here in Germany the weather is since weeks like autum and the nature bring us many fruits. Here the kids can also collect their pieces of find.
Das nächste Foto ist leider gar nicht gut, aber Luna ist abgesprungen, bevor ich es wiederholen konnte und ich wollte es Euch nicht vorenthalten.
Nein, sie pinkelt nicht in den Blumentopf. Von hier aus kann sie das Aquarium gut beobachten.
This next photo isn´t really good, but Luna stands up before I could take another photo. No, she don´t pee in the flowerpot...From this place she could observe the aquarium.

Fishfood for cats ?


This is the aquarium of our son Max. During he was in England and we were in Italy we placed it into the living room. So then the neighbour can better control it.
Still there it stands now...

Every time I feed the fish Luna come immediately.

Then she would like to try the food. It tastes her well and she want to eat more...


Luna tries to catch the food from the water surface. Then it is time to close the cover of the aquarium.

Nasse Katze Wet cat

Es regnet hier mal wieder( oder immer noch) ohne Unterlaß und deshalb möchte ich Euch heute mal eine Maine Coon Katze zeigen, die Freigang hat, wenn es regnet.

It is raining all the day and therefore I would like to show you today how Luna looks if she go outside in the rain. Luna will nun bei jedem Wetter raus und es scheint ihr gar nichts auszumachen, wenn sie nass wird. Ihr langes Fell bleibt allerdings länger nass als bei den Kurzhaarkatzen. Nach diesen Fotos habe ich sie erstmal abgetrocknet und den Dreck aus dem Fell gekämmt.
Luna would like to go outside in all weather and it does not seem to constitute she anything if she becomes wet. Her long fur remains however longer wet than that of the short hair cats. After the photo I had to dry her however and to brush her the dirt from the skin.
Unser kleiner Fußballkerl ist letzte Woche in die erste Klasse gekommen. Da möchte ich euch nicht vorenthalten welche Schultüte er sich ausgesucht hat. . . . und die ich mühsam basteln mußte ( hab ich natürlich gern getan).
The small Footballboy had his first schoolday last week. So I would like to show you his school cone. He selected it from this book and I made it for him. He was so proud to show it at school.
Hier seht ihr, womit ich in den letzten Ferientagen beschäftigt war und was mich, unter anderem, davon abgehalten hat, mehr als ein Post in der Woche zu schaffen.
I think, you know the german tradition to give the new pupils on his first schoolday a school cone with little gifts and sweets in it.
Thus ( and more) I was so busy in the last holidays week , that I could not post more than one times the week.
Ich wünsche euch einen schönen "regenfreien" Sonntag !!!

Cats on tuesday

Sorry, I´m late again. This is the first time I´ll load a video. The video shows Luna when she want to go outside. In German we say " will raus" It sounds like she meows "will raus"- "go out". (The background voice is our dog Patch )

Now I show you the new colour of the kitchen. Some of you wrongly guessed the new colour is orange...no ...the former colour was orange and now the kitchen is vanilla. Dissapointed ????
Next time I show you the decorated kitchen and...perhaps a recipe for Cris...
