Frühling ? Spring?

Nach einer stürmischen Nacht hat sich hier das Wetter mal wieder völlig verändert. Statt Frost nun 11°C und teilweise Sonnenschein. After a stormy night the weather today changed. No longer cold and frost but 11°C/ 52°F and sunshine.

Die Katzen hatten heute Frühlingsgefühle und waren den ganzen Tag draussen. The cats have spring feelings and were outside all day.

Hier seht ihr die friedlich schlafende Frieda....Here you can see peacefully sleeping Frieda... ...alles Tarnung... hier seht ihr den gnadenlosen Vogelfänger. ....everything camouflage ....here you can see the bad bird hunter...
Frieda hat eine unvorsichtigen Amsel gefangen. Auch wenn ich weiß, dass Katzen so sind... tut mir der arme Vogel echt leid. Kaum zu glauben, wozu so eine niedliche Mietzekatze fähig ist. Frieda catched a careless blackbird. I´m sad about the poor Bird. Unbelievable if you see that sweet little sleeping kitty.
Nun zum Schluß noch ein paar schöne Bilder. Ich habe Stiefmütterchen gepflanzt. Ist diese Farbe nicht schön ??? Finally some "nice"pictures. I have planted pansies. Are these colors beautiful ???
Im Beet und hier im Korb zusammen mit Bellies. In flower bed and in the basket together with daisies.

Cats on Tuesday

After a cold but sunny easter sunday we have now snow here in northern Germany.
As Luna wanted to go out this morning everything is white in the garden.


Here is the meeting point. Under the snow is growing the cat nip plant.
Luna consider whether to go back into the house. No cat nip plant and that cold stuff is not good.
Frieda has been discovered that the pond is frozen.
She tested with the paw if the ice is solid...
Amazingly....now Frieda can watch the fish from the top of the water !
We have a lot of snow this morning . Now it is snowing fat flakes all the time and all cats are back in the warm and comfortable house......No spring here...

Frohe Ostern Happy Easter

Ich wünsche allen Blogleser/innen ein frohes Osterfest !

I wish all blogreaders "Happy Easter" !Überraschenderweise ließ das Wetter es heute morgen zu, dass der Osterhase die Eier im Garten verstecken konnte. Nachdem wir gestern bei leichtem Schneefall und minus 3°C ins Bett gegangen sind, wurden wir heute morgen mit strahlendem Sonnenschein geweckt. Es ist zwar immer noch eisig kalt, aber die Wetterfrösche haben sich zumindest hier im Norden geirrt.
The weatherforecast has been wrong and today we are awoke with sunshine and the easter bunny was able to hide the eggs in the garden. It is really cold outside but fortunately no rain, snow or storm.
Ich wünsche euch ein paar schöne Tage. I wish you a few wonderful days !

Cats on Tuesday

We have a couple of interesting corners in our garden.
But this is the most important interesting corner. All cats come from the way behind the corner along. The neighboring and strange cats and tom cats too.
Luna found an interesting smell. Here and there...
Whether she knows which smell it is ??? Here you can see the fence. It is down from all the cats.
Hey Luzie und Frieda come here....here was a strange cat !!!
It was the fat neighboring cat that looks like Garfield. He is sits on the roof over the interesting corner...... but that is another interesting corner of our garden.

Happy St. Patricks Day

Gestern hat es mal wieder ausdauernd geregnet und ich hatte etwas Zeit für eine kleine Osterdekoration. Diese Servietten habe ich mir gekauft, weil ich das Motiv so niedlich fand.
Yesterday we had a lot of rain again and I had a little time for a small easter decoration. I bought this napkin with easter motive because I love those vintage bunny pictures.Ich habe das Motiv ausgeschnitten und mit Serviettentechnik auf die Kerze geklebt. I have cut out the motive and stick it with special napkin glue on the candle.
...und hier das Ergebnis ! Prima "Last Minute Geschenkidee" Man kann die verzierte Kerze problemlos abbrennen.....here is the result. This is a nice idea for a "Last minute " gift to easter .

Und wieder ein neuer Swap an dem ich teilnehmen werde. And a new swap again hosted by Heather .

Cats on Tuesday

Dear COT Friends,

it´s me Luna !!!
Today it is my part to tell you something for COT, because our mom had a lot headache and we want to help her.
Well, it is time for SPOT ON again. On the photo you can see the normal package of "spot on" for cats.
But not for me friends....Here you can see the "spot on" for me...yes the package with the dog.
Believe it or not, I´m a big cat and I need medicine against fleas for dogs, because the cat "spot on" is for cats with normal weight and my weight is like a small dog.
I´m big like our dog Patch and when I get the medicine against fleas for cats it never works for me. So the vet had the idea to give us a big pack with "spot on" to share for all. We get a syringe for exact dimension for every one. That is a good idea I think and it is not too expensive for our mom.
Now mom is felling a little better. She says, it is the weather ...We have storm and rain today and low pressure area.
These beautiful flowers our mom received from our former neighbors for her nice care to Anton the last days before he moved . Now he live in the new built house of our former neighbors in a other town. It seems he is feeling well there but he is worry because he is not allowed to go out for the next weeks. His peoples are afraid that he will run away to his old house. I don´t think that he can run 30 km but they are careful .

Sonntag Sunday

Eigentlich wollte ich euch in diesem Postkartenhalter meine gestempelten Karten zeigen, aber ...
Actually I wanted to show you in this postcard holder my newest handstamped cards, but......es gibt keine... Ich habe seit 4 Tagen Kopfschmerzen und keine Lust zum Basteln oder Posten.
....there is no...I have since 4 days bad headache and no opinions to craft or stamp or posting.
Also zeige ich euch nur den Postkartenhalter in Ostereierform und hoffe, dass es bald besser wird und ich meine Ideen in die Tat umsetzten kann.
So I show you the postcard holder in easter egg design without hand stamped creations and hope it will be better soon.

Cats on Tuesday

We have new toys !

Dear COT friends, after a few days with storm "Emma" the winter is back in North Germany.
Over night we got a little bit snow and it is this morning 31°f or 0,4°C. But now the sun is shining.
Our cats are happy during the stormy days, because they received new toys.
This feather ball is from Miss Peach. I think Miss Peach knows what cats need because it is a wonderful toy.
All cats love this toy because it is like a bird, but... oups....when I use the vacuum cleaner yesterday I saw the feather ball lying on the floor, at first I thought it is a bird killed by the cats.
That cube tent is also from our friend Miss Peach. Wow, this American toys are really good.
At first Luna tried it carefully. Then she played and after that she asleep in her new cube.
Please do not disturb.... Thank you Miss Peach for my new place !
