Olli wundert sich über das merkwürdige grüne Zeug im Flur. Olli is wondering about that strange green stuff in the entry....Wir Menschen brauchen es für....unsere Weihnachtdekoration. We humans need that for our christmasdecorations.

Umwerfend ! Olli mag den kleinen Kerl Fall over! Olli love that tiny Santa!
Die anderen Katzen schlafen irgendwo im Haus.The other cats are sleeping somewhere in the house.

Schnee Snow

Wir hatten viel Schnee am Wochenende. Zum ersten Mal seit 2 Jahren konnten die Kinder wieder einen Schneemann bauen.

We had a lot snow this weekend. It is the first time since two year that the kids could build a snowmanMax und Rachel haben heute Morgen ihr Real Care Baby zurück in die Schule gebracht.
Nachdem alles gar zu leicht anfing, hat das Baby die letzten 2 Nächte zum Tag gemacht.
Trotzdem haben sie es hervorragend gepflegt. Die Auswertung hat 100 % ergeben. Es hat sich 80 Mal in dieser Zeit gemeldet und wurde 80 Mal versorgt. Und sie haben es ganz alleine gemacht. Da nur sie die nicht abnehmbaren Kontaktarmbänder hatten, konnten sie sich der Verantwortung nicht entziehen. Zur Belohnung gab es eine gute Zensur.
Max and Rachel bought the Real Care Baby back to school today. The baby would love to be cared like a real baby. They had to feed it, change the diaper and it had stomache ache too all by 80 times. They have done a good job and earned a good mark at school.
Beide haben angegeben, dass sie sich zwar Kinder vorstellen können, damit aber noch mindestens 8 Jahre warten wollen. ...
They said that they could imagine to have kids but not now.
Olli ist nun froh, dass Max wieder mit ihm spielt. Er durfte nicht ins Zimmer, weil die Kinder Angst hatten, dass er die teure Puppe beschädigt.
Olli is glad that Max had now time to play again. He was not allowed to be in Max room, because he might the expensive real care doll damaged...
Genußvoll räckelt Olli sich vor dem warmen Ofen. Olli enjoyed the warm Fireplace.
Es ist weiterhin kalt hier bei minus 1°C. It is cold here by -1°C/30°F.

Baby Weekend

Babybedenkzeit

Olli ist etwas verwirrt, weil er heute nicht die erste Geige spielt.
Max und seine Freundin nehmen am Schulprojekt "Babybedenkzeit" teil. Für dieses Wochenende spielt die Puppe die Hauptrolle.

Olli is not really happy today. There is a intruder in our house. Max the older boy and his girl friend Rachel participated at the school project Babybedenkzeit. They received this baby for the weekend. Noch ist das junge Paar mit Freude dabei. Die lebensechte Puppe möchte gefüttert, gewickelt und gewiegt werden, sonst gibt´s Geschrei.....und zwar etwa im 2 Std Takt....
The young couple is still happy. The living doll would like to have baby food, diapers and time if not it can scream like a real baby...every 2 hours...

Und es gibt den ersten Schnee bei uns. Nach Sturm und Dauerregen gestern ist der Regen heute abend in Schnee übergegangen....
And we have the first snow today!!! After a day full of rain and storm yesterday, we have finally snow.
...und es soll die ganze Nacht weiter schneien....zumindest die Kinder freuen sich. Olli findet den Schnee spannend und Luna und Luzie haben sich im Haus ein gemütliches Plätzchen gesucht.
The kids are happy about the snow, (we had no snow last winter) Olli thinks it is exciting and Luna and Luzie are looking for cosy places in the house.

When I look through my photos I found this: It is Momo, one of Luzies Babies before 3 years.
Luzie love her babies so much and Momo was the last one here. He comes to a family in the neighborhood. Unfortunately one day he dissapeared forever.....we never knew where he is...
Here you can see the difference of Olli ( left) and Momo (ri).
Max also loved Momo very much. So you can understand that he fall in love when he saw little Olli !
And not to forget to show you a picture of little Luna. Luna is born on the 5.May 2005 and Momo was born at the 6.May. 2005. It is sad that Momo is no longer there.

Novemberwetter November weather

Es regnet und ist kalt...typisches norddeutsches "Schietwetter". November eben!

Its cold and rainy here in northern Germany. 7°C/ 42°F over the day. We call it "Schietwetter" but however, it´s November ! Da läßt man eigentlich keinen Hund vor die Tür, es sei denn, er muss.....
The cat´s don´t love to go out...fortunately they have their Litterbox. But the dog must go out...

Nevertheless have a good start in the weekend!

Do you remember ?

Dear friends,
we have stormy weather today. The weather is crazy, we have 16°C/ 61°F. That´s too warm for November. It makes the cats and humans nervous. Luna and Luzie are allowed to go outside but they are afraid about the storm. So they want go outside, want inside...want out...in...
Olli remains calm. He is not allowed to leave the house because he is too small but he doesn´t want it really....
I found Mecky the neigboring cat on her favorite place....on the saddle of Max scooter.

That remembers me to the last picture of our Frieda ....her favorite place was also a saddle ....
And I think it is time to remember to Frieda. I miss her these days...she was so cuddly and thankful.
She was so small and afraid when I found her in my garden...she was thankful for the food ...thankful for the bath...thankful that we shelter her in our house.
Her life was short but we will never forget our beloved Frieda.

Hello dear Catfriends!
Here you can see a real mouser ! On friday I found Olli in the kitchen playing with a mouse. ...
At first I thought it was a toy mouse....but then I recognized that it was a REAL mouse...iiiiiih....I don´t know where he had the mouse . Catched in our house or if Luna brought the mouse .....Sorry but I was too shocked to make a photo !!!
It´s harvest in our garden. Last week I cut the last Catnip plants ....
I filled it in a basket to dry the leaves . Then I had the idea to sew catnip christmas tree ornaments for the kitties.

After a while it is going to be better with the cats. Luna is hissing now much less to Olli. It still needs some time.....but I´m glad to see the cats together in the kitchen with their bowls....like that.

Forest Walk

Waldspaziergang


Nachdem die ganze Familie in der letzten Woche an einem ziemlich blöden Magen und Darm Virus erkrankt war, tat ein Waldspaziergang am Sonntag besonders gut .

The "whole" family was sick last week. (We had a bad gastro enteritis ) A long walk in the forests with fresh air did well for us.Der herbstliche Wald ist herrlich, obwohl es recht diesig war. The forest in fall is wonderful.
Seht ihr den kleinen braunen Punkt auf dem Weg ? Patch durfte natürlich mit.
Can you see the tiny brown dot ? It is our dog Patch.
Wie im Zauberwald.........like a magic forest....
....findet man diese wunderschönen Fliegenpilze.....you can find these toadstool....I think he looks beautiful....but be careful ...
Patch hat den kleinen verborgenen Teich im Wald gefunden. Patch found the small hidden pond in the forest.

Nun wird es nachmittags schnell dunkel.... Now in November it will be dark soon in the afternoon....
