Liebe Bloggerfreunde, nun gibt es endlich wieder neue Bilder von Luna und co. Seid mir bitte nicht böse, aber ich hatte eine stressige Woche und konnte leider keine Blogs besuchen und kommentieren, aber ich werde es so schnell wie möglich nachholen.
Dear Blogging-Friends, now there are finally again new photos from Luna and friends. Sorry, but I had a busy week and could not comment to all of you, but I want to visit and comment your blogs soon. Hier seht ihr Luna auf dem Zaun zu unserem Nachbargrundstück. Dort hält sie sich nun häufiger auf, seit sie entdeckt hat, dass ihre Leine lang genug ist um rüber zu springen. Here Luna is sitting on the fence to our neighbours. Since she discovered the fact that her leash is long enough, she jumps often into the neighbours garden.
Ich habe schon Fotos von den gelben Rapsfeldern in Patch Blog gezeigt. Hier komme ich beim Nordic Walking immer vorbei. Leider kann man auf diesem Bild nicht so gut erkennen, wie riesig dieses Feld ist . Sozusagen, soweit das Auge reicht....und abends duften sie ganz intensiv.
I already show on Patch blog photos from the yellow fields. Here I went often for Nordic Walking along. Unfortunately you can´t recognize well in this photo, how enormous the field is real ... and in the evening it smell so intensively.

Da wir morgen den ersten Mai haben, möchte ich euch auch diese Bilder nicht vorenthalten. Since we have tomorrow the first May I would like to show you also these pictures.
Lunas Interesse an dem Maikäfer war aber nur kurz, ich glaube sie mochte ihn nicht. Luna is not interested particularly in the cockchafer, I think she don´t like it. In Germany we say Maikäfer, because it is there actually only in the first weeks in May.

Mit diesem Maikäfer möchte ich allen einen schönen ersten Mai wünschen !!!

Cats on Tuesday

Cats on Tuesday today with Luzie and the catnip. Heute mit Luzie und der Katzenminze.
Luzie loves Catnip.....Catnip dry.... Catnip fluid.....So or so....Luzie steht auf Katzenminze, egal in welcher Form...
Two weeks ago, I plant on the cat path in our garden Catnip as a fresh plant. Vor zwei Wochen habe ich an dem Katzenpfad in unserem Garten frische Katzenminze gepflanzt.
Since two days the plant flowers and Luzie is happy. Seit zwei Tagen blüht die Pflanze und Luzie ist glücklich.

Oh, what a smell....mmmmh...welch ein Geruch...mmmh...
The plant seems to shift the cat into a extasy....Die Pflanze scheint die Katze in einen Rauschzustand zu versetzen...
...and it seems to taste her......und sie scheint ihr zu schmecken....

....whatever it is, only Luzie loves catnip so much. With Frieda and Luna it doesn´t have this effect. ....was immer es ist, nur Luzie fährt so darauf ab. Bei Frieda und Luna hat die Pflanze keine besondere Wirkung....

Kalt Cold

Nachdem wir ein fast sommerliches Wochenende hatten, ist es nun wieder empfindlich kalt geworden. Trotzdem blüht und grünt es üppig im Garten. Hier ist ein Bild von meinem "wilden" Vorgarten. Es gab mal eine Struktur, aber es hat sich Einiges verändert im Laufe der Jahre. Hier stand mal eine Kugelakazie, die aber vor zwei Jahren einem Schädling zum Opfer gefallen ist. Der Rest vom Stamm steht noch, er dient Luzie als Kratzbaum. Nun ist er wieder gut versteckt von meinem üppig blühenden "Tränenden Herz". Since we had a weekend like summer it became rather cold now again. Nevertheless it flowers and becomes green in my wild dooryard. Here was times a structure which was lost in the course of years. Here stood times an acacia, now grow here a "watering heart" It covers the remainder of the trunk, which serves Luzie now as a scratching tree.

Vor Jahren haben wir aus Italien einen Pinienzapfen mitgebracht und einfach mal einen Kern ausgesäht. Das ist dabei herausgekommen. Diese Pflänzchen hält schon seit etlichen Jahren jeden norddeutschen Sturm stand und nun hat es zum ersten Mal...ja, ich glaube es sind Blühten. Years ago we bring along a pine tree cone from Italy and put a pip of it in a flower pot. From this grew this small plant. It withstands each storm here since a few years and now , I think...it flowers the first time.

Dafür ist dieses Bild gestellt . Ein Suchbild, wo ist die echte Katze ? This pictures is posed. Search the real cat . Auch Luzie wird für das Foto dekoriert. Sie schläft aber so tief, dass sie dabei nicht mal aufwacht. Also Luzie is decorated for the photo. She sleeps so deeply and does not wake up thereby.

Luna`s new toy Luna`s neues Spielzeug

One morning... eines Morgens...
... a small spider dared itself... wagte sich eine kleine Spinne...
...in Luna´s nearness...in Luna´s Nähe...
...Luna had boredom...Luna hatte Langeweile...
...and was pleased over the new toy...und war erfreut über das neue Spielzeug...

Unfortunately the small spider disappeared under the floor mat... Leider verschwand die kleine Spinne unter der Fußmatte...

...and if the vaccum-cleaner didn´t get it, it sit´s still there . ... und wenn der Staubsauger sie nicht erwischt hat, sitzt sie da noch immer...

Feel like summer

Heute hatten wir einen richtigen Sommertag im April. Mit 28°C war es teilweise sogar fast zu warm. So haben wir die Sandalen rausgesucht und die Terrassemöbel aus dem Schuppen geholt. Today we had a really Summerday in April. It was nearly somewhat too warm with 28°C. So we set up the terrace furnitures and get out the sandals. Dabei habe ich alle mediterranen Pflanzen, die unter dem Terrassendach" überwintert" haben an den Teich gestellt. Sieht fast ein bisschen nach Süden aus, oder ? Den kleinen Olivenbaum habe ich 2001 in Lazise am Gardasee gekauft. Er passte damals in das Waschbecken von unserem Wohnwagen. While cleaning the terrace I placed all plants against the pond. It looks a little like Italy. The Olive Tree I bought 2001 in Lazise at the Lago di Garda in Italy. It fit into the wash basin of our camper.

Diese Schwimmpflanzen habe ich heute neu gekauft. Zum Glück hat Luna die noch nicht entdeckt ;-) I bought the swimming plants new. Fortunately Luna did not discover those yet.
Da blühen Vergissmeinnicht und Sumpfdotterblume.... there are blooming Forget-me-not and the marsh plant...
...und hier steht der Kirschbaum in voller Blüte. ... and the cherry tree is blooming.
Luna sitzt hinter der Fliegengittertür, die wir wieder eingehängt haben...
Luna sits behind the fly lattice door, which we replaced... ...und hat ganz schnell wieder raus, wie das Ding aufgeht....and fast found out, how it comes up...

Same name, different meanings !
Gleicher Name, unterschiedliche Bedeutung !




When I bought plants for the garden last week, I found this plant for a stone garden. The bot . name is antennaria dioica but the german name means small cat paw !?!
Als ich letzte Woche Pflanzen für mein neues Beet kaufte, konnte ich natürlich nicht an dieser kleinen Pflanze vorbeigehen. "Katzenpfötchen" kannte ich bisher noch nicht, mal sehen was daraus wird ?!?!


But this is also a cat paw, not a small, because it is a big Maine Coon paw, it is Lunas paw. A large difference. Das hier ist auch ein Katzenpfötchen, oder eher eine riesige Pranke, Lunas Maine Coon Pfote !

This is a german human treat ;-) It is a chocolate and the german name means cat tongue...

Deutschsprachigen Blogger-freunden brauche ich diese nette Süßigkeit ja nicht zu erklären, kennt sicher jeder... Ich habe sie als Kind schon geliebt die Katzenzungen aus Schokolade mit dem süßen Kätzchenenbild drauf!

And here is an other cat tongue, it is Lunas tongue. She need it to clean her fur. That is much work for her. Hier ist noch so eine Katzenzunge, auch mit niedlichem Kätzchen dran. Hier wird sie zur Fellreinigung gebraucht und das ist eine Menge Arbeit für Luna.
I could show you still many similar things. You know perhaps also some things with the same name and different meanings !?!?

Ich könnte noch eine Menge andere Dinge mit ähnlichen Namen aufzählen und ihr kennt sicher auch viele Dinge mit gleichem Namen und unterschiedlicher Bedeutung !?!

Cats on Tuesday

We have a small pond in our garden. It is a very small pond but there are three Goldfishes in it.
Wir haben einen kleinen Teich in unserem Garten. Es ist ein sehr kleiner Teich, aber es sind drei Goldfischen und ein paar Moderlieschen drin. Now all will think Luna want to catch the fishes....Jetzt denken sicher alle, Luna will die Fische fangen...
NO...Luna wants not to catch the fishes...The fishes are 3 years in the pond and cats never catch them (but all want to drink the water ).... But Luna catch all my swimming plants and retrieve them to the terrace. I was so proud about my swiming plants and now there is not one more. All catched by Luna...
NEIN...Luna will die Fische gar nicht fangen... Die Fische sind schon 3 Jahre in dem Teich und die Katzen haben sie bisher nicht gefangen ( dafür wollen alle daraus trinken) ... Luna fängt alle schwimmenden Pflanzen und bringt sie vor die Terrassentür. Ich war so stolz auf meine Schwimmpflanzen und nun ist da keine mehr drin. Alle von Luna gefangen...

This bookmark I gave to my large son with a book as he learn to read. Meanwhile I use it ( 15 years old boys don´t use kitty bookmarks ) and it reminds me of it as wonderful are swimming plants...

Dieses Lesezeichen habe ich mal unserem Großen zusammen mit einem Buch geschenkt, als er gerade lesen lernte. Mittlerweile benutze ich es selbst ( 15 jährige Jungs nehmen keine Kätzchenlesezeichen mehr) Es erinnert mich beim Lesen immer daran, was ich mal für schöne Pflanzen hatte...
