Olli meets Elvis again

Dear kitty friends and human readers,
we have no good news....the cat on the street was Olli... wwe started to hang the search posters on monday. A man remind that he found a dead cat at the mainstreet which looks like Olli on the Poster and told it another man in our neighborhood and he told us that Olli was found....
Liebe Freunde,
wir haben leider keine guten Nachrichten. Die Katze am Strassenrand war unser Olli. Nachdem wir die Suchplakate aufgehängt haben, sagten eine Menge Leute, dass sie Olli schon länger nicht mehr gesehen hätten. Später hat ein Mann Olli auf dem Plakat erkannt und seinem Bekannten in unserer Strasse erzählt, dass er diese Katze tot gefunden hat , mitgenommen und hinter seinem Garten begraben hat. Dieser Nachbar hat es uns dann erzählt. Die Katze hätte keine äußeren Verletzungen gehabt und war scheinbar sofort tot. Ein wenig tröstlich für uns, dass er vielleicht nicht so sehr gelitten hat.... Now Olli meets his brother LV again at the end of the rainbowbridge and we hope they are happily together.
We all can´t believe that he´ll never come back again . The other cats are looking for Olli and Patch miss his little friend very much like the kids do too
Olli was such a sweet and friendly cat !!!
Nun hat Olli seinen Bruder Elvis am Ende der Regenbogenbrücke wiedergetroffen .
Wir können noch immer nicht glauben, dass er nicht wieder kommt und alle vermissen ihn sehr.
Sogar unser Hund Patch vermisst Olli. sie haben sich doch immer das Körbchen geteilt.

It was the third cat which died on the street. I don´t know what to do with the other cats. They are not used to be in the house and not to go out...they are outdoor kitties...
I´m afraid if they come not home at time.
Olli ist nun die dritte Katze von uns die überfahren wurde . ich weiß gar nicht was ich nun mit den anderen Katzen tun soll. Es sind Freigänger, die es nicht gewohnt sind im Haus eingesperrt zu sein. Nun habe ich immer Angst, wenn sie mal nicht rechtzeitig zu Hause sind...

Olli

Hello dear friends, Olli is still not back home and it is possible that he´ll never come back. Olli ist noch nicht wieder zu Hause und es ist möglich, dass er nie wieder kommt.

We are not sure if he is killed by a car . A woman in the neighborhood told us about a dead white and black cat on the mainstreet. She was not sure if it was Olli . She knows Olli and says it is possible that it was Olli. When she came back to have a closer look the dead cat was no longer there.

Wir sind uns nicht sicher, aber wir denken, dass er überfahren wurde. Eine Frau aus der Nachbarschaft hat uns von einer toten weißschwarzen Katze an der Hauptstrasse erzählt. Sie kennt Olli und dachte gleich an ihn. als sie später nochmal nachschauen wollte war die tote Katze schon weg.

We think it is possible that it was Olli because he crossed sometimes this mainstreet to hunt rabbits on the other side.

Wir denken auch, dass es Olli gewesen sein könnte, denn er überquert diese Strasse manchmal um auf der anderen Seite Feldhasen zu jagen.

We are very sad and we all miss Olli and we hope he had no suffer...

Wir sind alle sehr traurig und vermissen Olli und hoffen, dass er nicht lange leiden musste...

Update: Yesterday we hung search posters on trees and lantern. Olli was tatooed on both ears and registered at Tasso.

Mancat Monday

Olli ist weg!!! Er ist seit Freitagabend verschwunden. Wir haben schon überall gesucht und gefragt, aber es gibt keine Spur von ihm....

We are very sad because Olli has not come home since Friday!
We asked all neighbors and shelter but he is dissapeared.

Poor Olli !!! Where are you ?

Hello dear Cats on Tuesday Friends!!! Today we want to introduce you another new neighbor. During some fall garden cleanups a curious kitty came to visit us....Findus wants to find out who is there...

The curious new kitty was afraid and hissed to Findus

Findus keeps calm and walked away....

This seems to be a special kitty maybe British Shorthair or russian blue or a mix of something like that.

He was friendly but carefull . We think he has a home because he wears a collar.

We like this beautiful and friendly visitor.

Mancat Monday

The humans got new sofas.....we are the first.....hehehe.....before they are ready with the clean ups we saved us the besat places...

They are very very comfy....the humans says they are glad to have covered the sofas with the plaids....but we don´t know why ....

Die Katzen waren in der Tat die ersten, die unsere neuen Sofas besetzt haben, noch bevor wir mit dem Umräumen fertig waren ..... ohne Decken geht es gar nicht ....

All the work makes me soooo tired.....aber all die Arbeit macht mich soooo müde....

Fleamarket Sunday

Since I had a very bad cold I had no opinions to post the last week. Now the cold is a little better and I could visit some fleamarkets in our town. I found this old sewing desk and a few vintage doilies , Buttons and other sewing items.
Ich hatte eine schlimme Erkältung in der letzten Woche und hatte keine besondere Lust zum Posten. Heute ging es mit der Erkältung aber wieder etwas besser und ich hab das schöne Wetter für Flohmarktbesuche in unserer Gegend genutzt.

Auf einem Antikflohmarkt bin ich schließlich fündig geworden und habe dieses alte Nähtischchen und ein paar Deckchen, Spitzen, Holzgarnrollen und Knöpfe für ein paar Euro erstanden.

Das Tischchen wird nun .....endlich auch.....weiß gestrichen.

The vintage china and the tin I found on a fleamarket too. Die alte Kindertasse , das Kännchen und die Teedose habe ich schon letzte Woche auf einem Flohmarkt im Harz gefunden.

Hier seht ihr ein.....Degu....für alle, die diese putzigen Tierchen noch nicht kennen.

I tried to make some pictures of them.It´s not easy because they move all the time. Here the kids have fall break and for the next two weeks I have to care the Degus of my friend Astrid .

Ich habe versucht ein paar Bilder zu machen, aber es ist nicht einfach, weil sie sich immerzu bewegen . Die Kinder haben Herbstferien und ich muss die Degus meiner Freundin Astrid für die nächsten 14 Tage hüten......als Gegenleistung, weil sie meine Degus in den Sommerferien versorgt hat. Ich hoffe, ich mache es genauso gut wie sie ;o)
