Hello dear furry and human friends,

today I show you Lunas secret sleeping places. During the summertime when the weather is dry and warm Luna has her naps outside. I never know where she is sleeping until I found the tail......
When I opened the door of the treehouse I found Lunas cosy place.....She looks very sleepy....and forgot to put her tail in the house too *LOL*
Another cozy place is the trampoline....not in the middle....in the hidden corner near the fence and the hedge....
Luna doesn´t like it very much when I know her places....You can see it in her look.

Cat Art Sunday

Dear friends,
welcome to another Cat Art Sunday.
I received 3 ATC Swap packages from my friends Birgit, Anja und Karla. When I tried to make some photos Olli discovered the small sized Art Pieces.
We had the themes Birds and Cats....Olli like the Cat ATCs from Anja.....
....and here is a Cat ATc from Birgit....yes I love my Cats too

This is the reason....why Olli is crazy about ATCs....they sent Treats along with their packages...

Cats on Tuesday

Hello dear furry and human friends,

we were at the pumkin festival at the countryside on sunday.....pumkins over pumkins....
on a rest area we met this friendly grey tabby kitten. A real farm cat....
She was very friendly....
....and Steffen fall in love with it....and the kitten fall in love with Steffen...
The kitten thought my bag is a good place for a nap and a few cuddles....
Both were sad when we had to leave the place.... but this kittens home is the countryside and the farm and fields and it will become happy there.

Update: This is another story, I didn´t mean the farm cat.
I found this today in the daily newspaper.....the other gentle grey tabby -the visitor on thursday- dissapeared the next day when I took the photos and post.... It was picked up on friday in our street and bought to the shelter of our town....Now they are looking for the owner....or a new forever home.

Cat Art Sunday

Hello friends,
it´s Cat Art Sunday again. It´s the idea of our friend Miss Peach and Karla which is off to the Cat-Hilton and on holidays today.
Today I have a little Art work of my friend Birgit. She is a great ATC Artist and we are in several swaps together.

es ist wieder Cat ARt Sunday. Das ist eine Idee unserer Freundin Miss Peach und Karla, die gerade im Urlaub sind und hoffentlich schöne Tage verleben.
Heute möchte ich euch wieder ein kleines Kunstwerk meiner sehr kreativen Freundin Birgit zeigen. Birgit macht wunderschöne ATC und wir sind zusammen in zahlreichen Swaps. Sie bereitet mir immer sehr viel Freude mit ihren schönen Swap Päckchen.

Here I found a sweet kitten picture in a coloring book of the kids. Isn´t it cute?

Good news on Thursday

Good news, friends....Lenny is back!!! He was found a few blocks away and brought to the shelter where he could be picked up by his family.
Lenny is back and another new kitty moves in the neighbourhood.
It is a young tabby tomcat...we don´t know his name but he feels right at home in our garden.
Now he tries to become friend with Olli.....our kitty girls are not very amused about the new visitor.

Cats on Tuesday

Hello dear furry and human friends.
Today we have bad news. Our sweet neighboring cat Lenny is lost since 3 days. All kids in the neighborhood try to find him but he is disappeared. Olli miss him very much....Lenny was his best friend.
Luna found out a new place to nap.
It is the cover of the Motorcycle. This place is sunny and wind and weather protected. Maybe she feels a little like in a Hammock. Here is a very short video.

Skywatch Friday

Today we have a sunny late summer day....all photos are taken on our walk with the dog this morning...9.00 am German Time
It was very cold this morning 10 °C /45°F but without wind.
As usually the cats are walking with the dog...
Olli is always a little anxious and disapeares in the bushes when a strange dogs came along or other people. Luzie always use the field as litterbox...

Dear furry and human friends,
I have looked at the photo album of Max childhood pictures and found this. These are pictures from our first family cat Dixie on her first day.
We kept Dixie from a shelter when she was 5 years old a short time before Max 5 th birthday 1996.
At the shelter Max was allowed to choose a cat but Dixie has chosen Max. She was the one cat which comes to us to let us pet her. Max fall in love with Dixie and we take her to ower former home. Dixie moved with us in ower new home. She was not the cuddle cat which Max wanted. If she don´t want to be cuddled she showed us her claws and bit us. But she was a family member....our cat.
One day she was sick and I thought I better should take her to the vet the next day. This night she run in and out and was very nervously. When she came back she run under the wheels of a car and died.
This was in 2004......She was 13 years old. I never wanted another cat again......
.....since Luzie decided to move to us in May 2005.

Stormy Saturday

Since yesterday we have bad and stormy weather. This is a photo for Skywatch Friday but I have a bad cold since yesterday and no opinions for a post.
This should be for Eyewatch Friday . Look at these eyes. they could say: I´m an old doggie and I need a warm place for a nap

Happy Birthday

Heute ist ein großer Tag.....Max ist 18 Jahre alt....
...wovon er auf dem Bild von 1996 noch träumte....wird heute wahr.... er darf ab heute alleine Autofahren.....von dem Ferrari wirst du wohl noch etwas länger träumen müssen ;o)

The big number .....Max is 18 !!! On the picture of 1996 he dreams to drive a real car....today he is finally allowed to do .....In Germany the kids may have the driver licence when they are 17 but they are not allowed to drive without parents before until they are 18.

Happy Birthday, Max!!!

We received yummy treats from our nice friend Miss Peach. Look how much Olli loves these american treats.


Of course he shared all with Luna and Luzie .They like the treats too.
Here you can see Luna busy with some morning clean-ups on her fur.


Sorry friends, the woman is busy today. She is preparing the birthday of our beanboy Max tomorrow. We hope you can enjoy our short videos.
