Bärenwochenende Bear weekend

Das Bild ist mir beim letzten Post abhanden gekommen . Ich habe es auch nicht nachträglich reinbekommen ohne alles durcheinander zu bringen.

This photo is lost in my last post.Heute sitzen bei uns überall Bären herum. Sie haben heute ihren Fototermin für den Blog SammelLeidenschaft.
Today the bears sitting around. They are waiting for the Photo session for the blog SammelLeidenschaft.
Da ist Luna natürlich neugierig und muß alles ganz genau untersuchen.
Luna is curious and everything must be carefully examined.
Sie findet es aber gar nicht lustig, dass die Bären anschließend ihren Lieblingsplatz besetzen.
She thinks it is not funny that the bears occupy her place.
Trotzdem quetscht sie sich davor. Nevertheless, Luna squeezes in between.

Miniaturwunderland

Gestern haben wir einen Ausflug nach Hamburg in die Speicherstadt gemacht. Dort ist in einem alten Hamburger Speicherhaus das Miniaturwunderland, eine riesige Modelleisenbahnlandschaft.
Yesterday we made a trip to Hamburg to visit the Miniaturwonderland.
This is a big toytrain land. Here you can see the big old Storehouse in Hamburg, where the Miniaturwonderland is.unten: Das ist die Nachbildung der Köhlbrandbrücke in Hamburg. This is the Köhlbrandbrücke in scale 1:87
Hier brennt ein "Modell"Haus und die ganze Feuerwehr ist im Einsatz. Alles im Maßstab 1:87. Here is a fire in a toy house and the firebrigade is coming. All in small scale 1:87
Das ist echt, der Blick aus dem Fenster der Cafeteria ...da sitzt eine echte Möwe auf einer Lampe. This is real... a view from the window of the caféteria...there is a real seagull sitting on a lamp.
Ein Mähdrescher mäht ein Sonnenblumenfeld. A combine in sunflowerfield.
Alle sind fasziniert von der detailgetreuen Nachbildung . Faszinated by the detailed replica.
Eine riesige Kirmes...nicht vergessen in 1:87. A big fair...don´t forget in scale 1:87.
Alle Autos fahren und es wird Nacht dort und alle kleinen Lichter gehen an. The small cars drive and if the night comes...yes it becomes night there....all the small lights go on.
Unsere Katzen mußten leider zu Hause bleiben...sie hätten sicher ihren Spaß mit den Fahrzeugen gehabt.



Wer einen Ausflug nach Hamburg plant, sollte nicht vergessen ins Miniaturwunderland zu gehen.
Auch die Speicherstadt ist sehenswert. Da gibt es noch viele Museen, wie das Spielzeugmuseum Die Dachbodenbande, das Gewürzmuseum und die alte Kaffeerösterei.

Cats on tuesday

After a day with lots of laundry, I found Luna in the laundry tub.
I had a lot ironed and the tub was nearly empty.... After a break....I come back....
....and the tub is full again................with cat....
...and the laundry is full with cat hairs. But she looks so sweet....I could not be angry with her.

Zeit für ein Tässchen Tee ? Teatime ?

Wenn die kalte Jahreszeit anfängt, wird bei uns wieder viel Tee getrunken. Letzte Nacht hatten wir das erste Mal Temperaturen unter 0°C und auch tagsüber wird es nicht besonders warm.
Nun wird es gemütlich. Ich habe frischen Tee besorgt...

When the cold season begins, we drink here more tea. Last night it was -0,2°C cold and over the day it was not really warm. Now it begins to be comfortable in the house. I get new tea. An diesem Tee konnte ich nicht vorbei und er schmeckt tatsächlich. Außerdem habe ich noch Roibos Zimt-Pflaume und natürlich Roibos Sanddorn gekauft. Für die Kinder habe ich Yogitee Schokolade, den mögen die total gern.
This tea I would like to buy, because its name is "Herbst Tee" - autumn tea. It tastes really good. I bought also Roibos Cinnamon plum and Roibos seabuckthorn beerie. For the kids I bought Yogitea chocolate. They love it to drink with brow sugar.
Hier habe ich meinen Schrank im Flur dekoriert. Den Schrank hat mein Vater selbst gebaut. Er stand schon in meiner ersten Küche und ist ca. 25 Jahre alt. Jetzt steht er im Flur und wird immer jahreszeitlich dekoriert.
Here I have decorate my cupboard. This cupboard has my father built 25 years ago for me. I had it in my first kitchen and now it stands in the entry and I decorate it new in every season.
Nun natürlich passend zum Thema "Halloween". Naturally , this time for "Halloween". Here in Germany we don´t celebrate Halloween so much, but now one can buy very beautiful decoration.
Heute hatten wir einen schönen, sonnigen, aber auch sehr kalten Morgen. Hier versammeln sich immer alle Katzen und Patch wartet auf seinen Morgenspaziergang . Leider ist Frieda gerade aus dem Bild gelaufen.
Today we had a sunny, but very cold morning. Here are all cats in the yard gathered and Patch is waiting for his morning walk. Unfortunately Frieda is running off the picture.

Ich wünsche allen einen schönen Herbstsonntag ! Macht es euch gemütlich, vielleicht auch mit einer leckeren Tasse Tee.

Cats on Tuesday

Last week I shown Luna and Frieda eating together and I told you, they are friends. But our third cat Luzie is always hissing when she met Luna and Frieda . Luzie is an independent cat.
Today I want to show you Luzie and her favorite food.
Luzie was a stray cat like Frieda and before she came to us she lives in the neighbourhood. Her former humans had no time for a cat. Luzie cames tiny and hungry to me , but at that time we had no cat and I had no cat food at home. So I remember my grandma has fed her cats with bread and milk...and first I also have given that to Luzie.

Since that time Luzie loves milk ....
Ok, I know, milk is not good for cats and our other cats don´t like milk. Only Luzie always want to have milk and sometimes her meows sounds like she says " M i i i l l k"
So it is acceptable for her to receive only canned milk or cat milk with warm water. She has never degestive trouble .
Naturally Luzie also gets real cat food. Sometimes I cook for the cats and they get chicken with fresh cheese. All cats love this and it could be they all eat it together.....but not without hisses....but.... then to the dog who wants also to eat this meal and he is faster than the cats !

Bücher Books

Nachdem ich dieses Bild von Frieda gemacht habe, fiel mir ein, dass ich ja mal ein Post über Bücher machen könnte.
In unserer ganzen Familie wird viel gelesen. Das Buch auf dem Frieda sitzt, lese ich gerade, um zu sehen, ob es schon für unseren 11 jährigen Sohn geeignet ist. Ich habe gerade erst damit angefangen und kann noch nicht viel darüber sagen.
After I made this picture of Frieda, I thought to make a post about books. We read a lot in our family. The book"Lord of the thieves"( on the Frieda sits )I read just to look if it is good for our 11 jears old son. I have only just started doing this and can not tell much about. Mittlerweile ist es auch schon verfilmt worden, aber ich lese lieber erst das Buch.
There is even a movie about it, but I prefer to read the book first.
Dieses Buch lese ich gerade mit unserem jüngsten Sohn. Es ist ein Kinderbuchklassiker. Obwohl es schon ziemlich alt ist, findet Steffen es total lustig.
This Book I read together with our youngest son. The title in english is "The little witch". In Germany it is a children book classics. This Book is really old, but Steffen finds it funny.
Ich persönlich mag das Titelbild besonders gern. Der Text hingegen ist zum Teil nicht mehr so ganz Zeitgemäß.
I like the Title picture. The text is sometimes too oldfashioned.
Das Buch Tintentod ist gerade erst neu rausgekommen. Es ist das nächste Buch, dass ich lesen werde. Dies ist der letzte Band aus der Trilogie der Tintenwelt und eigentlich auch ein Kinderbuch. Die anderen Bücher Tintenherz und Tintenblut fand ich spannender als Harry Potter.
The Book Inkdeath is new in Germany. It is the book I want to read the next time. This is the last of the Inkworld trilogy and it is a children book. The other Books Inkworld and Inkspell I found more exciting than Harry Potter

Übrigens, Harry Potter der letzte Band kommt am 27. Oktober in den Buchhandel. Ich lese aber nicht nur Kinderbücher und werde Euch hier hin und wieder interessante Bücher zeigen.Harry Potter comes in Germany on 27. October in the bookshops. But I don´t read only children books and sometimes I show you here my favorite Books.

Cats on tuesday

Best friends...

...are Luna and Frieda.

They could eat together without to hiss...
...they could sleep together....

...and they could lie next to each other. They divide their caught mice and they play together.

Unfortunately we have 3 cats ....there is also Luzie. But Luzie don´t want to live with other cats. She would like to have her humans only for her alone. Luzie is always hissing to Luna and Frieda if she met to them .
In Germany we say : "3 ist einer zuviel " or 3 is one too much. But you could also say 3 is one too few....
...no... Luzie is a wonderful cat and we love her , but she must find her place here with the other cats.

Sonntag im Herbst Fall sunday

So langsam wird auch meine Deko herbstlich . Das ist die Sitzecke im Vorgarten.
This is the front yard. It is for fall decorated.

Die Haustürdeko mit Blechkürbis.... The front door decorated with pumkin of sheet metal....
...und kleinen Halloweenkürbissen...and small halloween pumkins.
Eigentlich wollte ich bei unserem Waldspaziergang einen richtigen Fliegenpilz fotografieren...
So einen, wie diese schöne Grafik....
Actually I wanted to take a photo of a correct fly mushroom (Amanita muscaria)...like this wonderful mushroom picture...
....aber dort habe ich nur solche angefressenen Pilze ohne Punkte gefunden...ob das ein richtiger Fliegenpilz war ???
....but in the forest I found only these...without white points...don´t know, if it is a real fly mushroom.
Am Wochenende ist hier Fußball angesagt. Zur Zeit finden immer Qualifikationsspiele statt.
On weekend soccer/football games take place...The kids play for qualification...
...aber aktive Kinder benötigen aktive Mütter...active kids need active mums...

....und so bin ich auch am Wochenende mit Waschen beschäftigt...like that I´m busy with laundry at the weekend...

Cats on tuesday

Waste Cat

Since a few month I observe a cat who is living in the garbage can. He is very shy and these pictures are rare.

It seems the cat has no home...he is always dirty and sometimes he has problems with the legs ...he limps It is a real stray cat.
Here he comes from our front yard...he didn´t have a success in our carbagge can..the cover is secured because also Frieda was former a stray cat ....and sometimes she tried again to eat out of the waste.
It is raining here and during other cats have to work in the waste our Ladies found a dry place under the terrace roof.
