Cats on Tuesday

Hello dear furriends,
here you can see Ollis new place to hide. It is the cover of the kids sandpit. Actually is the cover against cats. ( psst, they love to use it as a litterbox)
It is a great place to hide and for a nap. Now it is time to wake up...
Here I am ....what can I do ?
I can hunt a mousie....
It is a gift for the woman...I put it in her shoes ....maybe she is delight about it....

Oh, Olli, is that for me ??? Thank you !!! What a nice gift ;o) And the place is well chosen , or not?

Mancat Monday

Olli will become a mancat soon. He is now 11 month old....
Yesterday he decided to train for his birthday and to stay outside over night.
I slept not very well because I was worried where he is...
He came back early in the morning and is now sleep deeply and firmly....
Mmmmmmh, I´m tired too, Olli....thank you for the good night! I bet you had fun outside...

Luzie in the morning!

Luzies favorite place to sleep is in the hedge of the neighbors. She is a outdoorcat and waiting each morning that I finally stand up and let her in. Can you see her place ? She is glad that the new neighbors don´t cut the hedge regulary so she has a well protected place in every weather.
She stand up, enter the house, eat and drink her milk and goes out again...
The next pictures are from this morning after her breakfast. She is observing the silent and stil shady morning garden ...
...from this place she has a good view over our garden and the neighbor gardens...

Happy Sunday!

We are lazy today !!! This is Luzie lying near me .....lazy..... I have headaches because of the crazy weather...it was warm at first in the morning, than it was rainy and cold and now we have sunshine again and it is warm...
We want to share our yummy sunday cake with you......

It´s Friday

Hello friends, Luna here :
I don´t know why but as you know, I had a lot of ticks the last days....more than Luzie and Olli had. The humans said we must do something against the ticks and guess what ?
SHE DID IT !!!
And we hate it....it is a bad feeling on the fur and the skin under the fur and it tastes soooo bad when we try to wash it away...

We all got the new Frontline. Olli didn´t want it on his fur and scratched the woman . Luzie already tries to get it off....
The woman here: Luna had every day lot´s of ticks....yesterday I removed a huge tick of her tummy and when I say huge.....it was really HUGE. It was disgasting.... I hope the new medicine works soon.

Luna enjoyed the sunshine on my place. When I took this picture she doesn´t know what I would find in her fur....Poor Luna.....
I found this when I stroke her fur....

...and this....
She had lots of ticks all over... in the fur on her ears....it is not easy to remove the vermin with her long fur...
I wonder why she has so many tick because she has Frontline and Prac-tice alternately...
Olli and Luzie have no problems with ticks... I think the ticks loves Luna, because they can more hide in the fur. It is easier to find the ticks in white fur.
Here you can see Olli and Luzie playing in the kids garden.

Maybe someone has a better idea what I can do against the ticks ???

Finally Friday

It´s finally friday and the weather is not really good. We have had thunderstorm, rain and strong wind today. The storm has ruined my young plants...
I sit here, now surrounded by all my cat...they want to be near me because of the thunder...and hope you all have a relaxed Friday .... ... like Luna on the windowsill this morning.

Today I had some trouble with Olli. Look, what he did ! He gazed to me all the time!
I said to him: Stop with that ! Heute hatte ich etwas Ärger mit Olli. Guckt mal, was er macht...er starrt mich die ganze Zeit an. Ich habe ihm gesagt, er soll damit aufhören...
Olli, Stop that ! He would not listen to me, so....Olli, hör auf damit... Er wollte nicht auf mich hören, also....
...so I had to beat him... also musste ich ihn verhauen
Olli, I said you should not annoy me.... Olli, du sollst mich nicht immer ärgern...

It is the 1th May , a day free of work and school and we have wonderful sunny weather ... what do you want more ?
I have the first time lily of the valley in my garden. Unfortunately anyone ( I don´t know what) eats the flowers from the plant... and I really have only this one flower.
We received this lovely garden fairy from our friend Miss Peach and her Mom Karla. It is so cute, Thank you Karla and Miss Peach.
This is the only mountain in our area. We made a trip this afternoon to have a view over our hometown. The weather is great, the sky is blue and in the background you can see the yellow fields which are growing all over here.
The history of this mountain is: It was a former sanitary landfill which is clothed and now captured again from the nature. we can use it for walks and observing the nature and the landscape.
Now it is late, Olli is outside for a last walk...maybe he can catch some cockchafer ( Maybugs) we have lots of them this year. But they are very early. It was the warmest April since weather records in Northern Germany.
Sorry friends but we have a little break because we are busy with preparing a family celebration. Our boy Klaus has his confirmation on sunday. We try to visit you again on Sunday evening or Monday morning.

Oh, and we are glad to find out that we are in friends and ferals at Zoolatry´s blog today. Thank you friends!!!
