Cats on Tuesday

Hello dear friends,

a few weeks ago I posted about the straycat which has a winternest in our garden. Yesterday I could made a few pictures through the window when he was eating under the terrace roof.
Hallo liebe Freunde,
vor einiger Zeit habe ich über den Mietzer berichtet, der auf unserer Terrasse überwintert.
Gestern konnte ich diese Nahaufnahmen durch das Fenster machen während er gefressen hat.
It looks like he was not afraid . He must recognized me through the window but he doesn´t run away. I´m glad he has not hurry with his food. Er sah nicht mehr so ängstlich aus wie am Anfang und hatte anscheinend auch keine Eile beim Fressen.
He looks like an very old straycat ....auf den ersten Blick sieht er aus wie ein sehr alter Strassenkater...
....but I think he is not old ....not even more than one year.. Ich glaube aber dass er nicht viel älter als ein Jahr ist
Yesterday we had a very rainy day and he spent the most time of the day sleeping under the terrace roof. Our cats are not nerveous about the special guest but I have to care that they came not to eat his food. I´m excited if he dissaeared again in spring or if I can take him finally to the shelter.
Gestern hat es den ganzen Tag geregnet und er hat die meiste Zeit auf unserer Terrasse geschlafen. Unsere Katzen scheinen an ihn gewöhnt zu sein aber ich muss immer aufpassen, dass sie seine Futterration nicht auch noch fressen....er bekommt ein anderes Futter als unsere Katzen. Drinnen würden sie es nie fressen aber draussen schmeckts anscheinend besser.
Ich bin gespannt, ob der Mietzer im Frühling wieder verschwindet oder ob ich ihn fangen und zur Auffangstation bringen kann.....

..............the first mousie in this winter.....Luna catched it this morning and brought it to me but Findus and Olli pinched it from Luna and had fun playing with it like with a toy mouse. I was glad it was already killed by Luna....eeeeeeee.....
.....die erste Maus nach dem großen Schnee.....Luna hat sie gefangen und Olli und Findus haben sie ihr geklaut und spielen nun damit, wie mit einer Spielzeugmaus. Zum Glück war sie schon tot...iiiiiiigittt....

Cat Art Sunday

Welcome to another Cat Art Sunday



since it is furry cold again Patch decided to fall in hibernation until spring beginns in 27 days.
Seit es gestern wieder richtig kalt geworden ist hat Patch beschlossen in den Winterschlaf zu fallen bis zum Frühlingsanfang in 27 Tagen.

As a stamper and cat lover I own a lot of cat stamps. One of it you can see at the card on the first picture. My friends also have cat stamps . I got this beautiful card in red/white from my friend Birgit to my birthday a few weeks ago. Enlarge the photo and you can see I love cats and books like the stamp shows.
Als Katzenfreundin und Stempelerin besitze ich natürlich auch einige Katzenstempel. Einen davon könnt ihr auf dem ersten Foto sehen. Meine Freundinnen besitzen natürlich auch Katzenstempel. Wie hier auf der süßen rot weißen Karte von Birgit zu sehen ist anlässlich meines Geburtstage vor einigen Wochen.

Hello friends, it´s me .... Doggie Patch. I had to have a walk and look what happens....Oh noooo, we have snow again....Yesterday we thought finally spring comes. We had 6°C and sunshine. Today it is only 1°C and we have new snow.....
Hallo Freunde, ich bin´s Patch. Ich musste vorhin mal raus und nun guckt mal was draussen los ist: Es schneit schon wieder...Gestern dachten wir noch nun kommt der Frühling. Wir hatten 6°C und Sonnenschein und heute sind es nur noch 1°C und es schneit .....so´n Schietwetter !
All humans and pets are recovered from the gastroenteritis... so.... what´s up for the weekend?

Cats on Tuesday

Hello dear furry and human friends. Here are some funny facts of our home.
Luzie is the queen of the stairs in our house ! It is her STairritory !
She always lay in the middle of a stair and everybody has to climb over her to come up or down.
Olli is afraid to climb over luzie and waits until she was gone or I have to help him .
A few days ago Luna dares for the first time to bother Luzie on the stairs....It was not an angry fight. I thought they had fun with bothering. Luzie finally stand up and it seems Luna was the winner. But Luna looks a little dissapointed about the fact that Luzie gave up.
Since have deep winter our cats are trapped in the house and things changed....It seems Luzie finally accept living with more cats. But she has to show I´m the first Lady....the Queen of her Stairritory!!!!


Unfortunately the weather didn´t changed. It is still cold and very frosty and we have a closed blanket of snow.
Look how deep it is in our garden.

In Germany we have a poem: ABC die Katze lief im Schnee.. ABC the cat is walking in the snow....unfortunately in english it has no rhyme
Brave Luzie had a walk through the snow to investigate the backyard.

Oh we are so ready for spring now!!!
Steffen recovered from his gastroenteritis but it was contagious. Two other family members are still sick.

Happy Valentines Day

Happy Valentines Day to all our friends!!!

It is snowing since days and furry cold. This morning asked me Findus for coming in....Es schneit seit Tagen und ist immer noch sehr kalt. Heute Morgen stand Findus am Küchenfenster und bat um Einlass!
Can you resist these eyes ??? Look at the snow on his fur! Kann man diesen Augen widerstehen?



Olli observed the surrounding.....but what is that ? Olli beobachtet die Umgebung....aber was ist das?
Findus wants to play and starts a funfight....Findus will spielen und geht zum Angriff über....
Later he has a nap on our sofa! What a sweetie!!! Später hält er ein ausgiebiges Schläfchen auf unserem Sofa!!! Süüüüß!!!

This is a short post today . The little one Steffen has a bad gastroenteritis and is crying near me on the sofa because his tummy hurts. Poor boy! I better should cook him a camomille tea!
Heute gibt es nur einen kurzen Post. Steffen hat einen Magen-und Darmvirus. Er liegt neben mir und hat schlimme Bauchschmerzen und weint. Ich sollte ihm jetzt besser einen Kamillentee kochen.

Nevertheless we wish all cats and humans a lovely February 14th !
Trotzdem wünschen wir allen Katzen und Menschen einen wunderschönen 14. Februar!

Cats on Tuesday

Hello dear furry and human friends.
Today we want to introduce you to our ugliest sites of the garden. Since it is furry furry cold here and we have many many snow in northern Germany, we shelter a stray cat in our garden.
Hallo liebe Cats on Tuesday Leser!
Heute möchte ich euch die dunkle und hässlichste Seite unseres Gartens vorstellen. Seit wir hier in Norddeutschland strengen Frost und viel Schnee haben beherbergen wir einen armen Streunerkater.
He is not in a good shape because he had a bad leg. He limps on the left back leg. If it is very cold he can not walk and jump fast. We found out that he sleeps under the terrace roof on Luzies place. I tried to catch him and take him to the vet but he is too wild and anxious.
Er ist in keinem guten Zustand. Sein linkes Hinterbein ist nicht in Ordnung, denn er hinkt stark. Manchmal kann er kaum laufen oder springen. Irgendwann haben wir herausgefunden, das er in Luzies Notunterschlupf auf der überdachten Terrasse schläft. Ich würde in Gerne einfangen und zum Tierarzt bringen, aber er ist zu wild und ängstlich.
This is another wintervisitor. He comes sometimes to investigate if the Stray left something to eat on the terrace . Das ist ein anderer Winterbesucher. Er kommt manchmal um nachzuschauen, ob der Streuner etwas Futter übrig gelassen hat.
Then he dissapeared through the cat path.....dann verschwindet er wieder über den sogenannten Katzenpfad...
The cat path is a very ugly corner in our garden. It is a small path between ours and the neighbours estate....the cats love the cat path because it is dry and sheltered from the wind.
Der Katzenpfad ist die häßlichste Ecke in unserem Garten. Es ist ein schmaler Weg zwischen unserem und dem Nachbargrundstück durch den nur kleinere Tiere passen. Die Katzen lieben den Katzenpfad, weil er trocken und windgeschützt ist .
At last I want to show you the winternest. It was Luzies old condo which we put on the terrace because Luzie prefer it often to stay outside over night. Since we have strong frost and the stray sleeps in it we put the old blankets over and in it.
Zum Schluß möchte ich euch ( ungerne) das Winternest zeigen. Eigendlich war es Luzies Übernachtungsplatz, wenn sie mal wieder nachts nicht reinkam. Seit wir strengen Frost haben und der Streuner dort schläft, haben wir es mit alten Decken Winterfest gemacht.
It looks not very good but it is warm and that is important. Es sieht nicht sehr schön aus aber es ist warm und das ist jetzt wichtiger.

Mancat Monday

PSSSSST....hey friends.....pssst....I sleep on Lunas window place......don´t tell her.
she will never recognize it because she is sleeping in Steffens closet on his new favorite Pullover....hehehe
This is not very cozy and comfortable here....but it is Lunas place and I dare to have a nap here too... because it is MANCAT Monday!!!!

Cats on Tuesday

Hello dear furry and human friends, I tried to catch how much it is snowing again this morning.
We all here think it is enough snow and we are longing for sunshine .
The old snow is not yet melted and we get many many new snow today. We hope we don´t snow in today .
This is new. I bought this radiatorhammock for 7 Euro at Lidl last week and thought about which cat would explore it first or if any cat would explore it. No big risk by this price.
The only free place was on the radiator over the sofa. I was surpriced that Luna was the interested cat. I never thought that she prefer heater warm places before...because she is always looking for cooler places
Luzie prefer the place near me on the sofa where I watch TV in the evening.

Luna thinks the new hammock is very comfortable. Isn´t it ?
