It´s Friday again. The humans have fun with playing games and eating american sweets which our Friends Teresa, Dylan and Alyssa sent us today. Thank you, they are so delicious!
Hello furry friends, Luna here . ....
.......our humans are ill. They have a bad viral desease. They sniff and cough all the day long and lie around. So what can I do as lie around too? I know this picture is not very Ladylike ....but it was comfortable.
Olli is busy, he never gets bored. If he is not surfing on the carpet he visits his friends the Degus.
If you look very closely you can see the little guys in the cage. They are very curious and they talk to Olli. Their voices are like little birds .....yummmmy
Our human will visit you all if she is going to be better....we hope that is soon.
The humans have headache ,the kids are bored and the cats are tired....
We hope the weather is not bad the whole weekend. I want my weekend walk in the forest!

It is cold and rainy the last days. I bought the spring flower bulb on the windowsill in December 29th and now it flowers. Curious Olli wants to know what it is but he don´t like the wonderful smell. It is not good like cat nip It´s only good for humans with winter depressions.
Rainy days in January are always good for clean ups. I found that old picture in the kids room. It shows our now 11 years old boy with our former cat Dixie in 1998. We found Dixie in a animal shelter in Bremen in 1995. She was 5 years old stray cat. Our oldest son Max was four when he wished to have a cat and found Dixie on a walk through the shelter.
Dixie was killed by a car in February 2004. Dixie was a good girl but she was not the nicest cat. If we cuddle her too long she has always scratched or bitten us
Here you can see Luna and Frieda on the bench. I love this picture because it is not possible with our cats now.
Here is Luzie on her bench nap place. I took the picture yesterday. She would never tolerate another cat near her on the bench.

Patch is tired as everyday in winter. Patch please answer before you fall in hibernation ,what was in the bag on Tuesday? Patch müde wie immer im Winter, beantwortet noch die Frage: Was war in der Tüte , bevor er wieder in den Winterschlaf fällt.
In the bag was dental care for dogs and of course treats for cats. In der Tüte waren Hundezahnbürsten und Kauknochen und natürlich auch Katzenleckerlis.
Olli learns every day more important things. His best friend is Patch, they love each other but one thing is different. Cat´s don´t stink but dogs do 
He wonders why ? 
Cats groom very much but dogs don´t do that. We humans help the dog with brushing the fur and sometimes a bath.

Cat Art ist die Fellmaus aus dem letzten Post aber es ist keine Kunst sie zu machen. Man benötigt nur Wolle zum Filzen eine Filznadel und etwas Katzenhaar vom bürsten. Cat Art is the Fur mousie from the last post but you must be no artist to make it. You need some felting wool, a felting needle and a little cat hair from the brush. We use Lunas hair because it is the longest. 
Die Filzwolle zusammendrehen und so lange mit der Filznadel hineinstechen bis es anfängt zusammen zu filzen. Das geht ganz schnell. Unterlage sollte dick sein ( z.B.gelber Putzschwamm)
Beim Filzen eine Maus formen und immer wieder etwas Katzenfell unterfilzen. Ein Band für den Schwanz miteinfilzen (hält gut) Man könnte auch Öhrchen dranfilzen, aber das spielen die Katzen ab. Max behauptet übrigens man könnte so eine Maus auch nur aus ( gereinigtem) Fell filzen. Dann müsste man das Fell aber sammeln.

He catched the mouse and tried to kill it. Er hat die Maus gefangen und erlegt.

Patch can show you today how cold it is. Look I can walk on water. The frozen forest pond is so exciting.
Today is Epiphany. It is also the last holiday for the kids and the last day for the Christmas tree. In Germany we let the tree since Epiphany. 
Oh no, Olli ,don´t disturb the 3 kings on their way......
By this coldness Luna want to stay in the house too. She´s only for a few minutes outside. Luzie even now remains in the house.
Sie haben herausgefunden, dass der Silvesterpartymüll ein tolles Spielzeug ist. They found out to play with the new years eve party decoration waste.
Luna hat einen besonders kuscheligen Platz im Flur gefunden. Die Schals, Mützen und Handschuhe der Kinder scheinen bequem zu sein. Luna found a good place in the entry room on all the scarfs and gloves the humans need in these cold days outside.
Auf dem Video könnt ihr sehen, dass nicht nur die Katzen viel Spaß mit dem Silvestermüll haben. You can see on the video that not only the cats had fun with the party waste.
