It´s Olli 1 th Birthday today!!! Finally he is a mancat too!
When he was a small cat he loves to sleep with his cuddly rat....
Today he loves to eat lots of treats....and share it with his friends....

Sunday Pictures

Hello dear friends!
I have another picture of the flowers of my Wordless Wednesday Post because a few people asked for the name of the flower. OnlyMiss Peach has it recognized .....
it is .....CATNIP....what else ?
Patch was very interested in the newspaper this morning....there was a picture of a tiny very ugly doggie.....the doggie received an award as the ugliest dog... oups...poor doggie deserved it....
We had a trip to Osnabrueck with my brother and his his family and found there this giant cat in a fountain....a very watery place for a cat.

Finally the kids have summer holidays for 6 weeks.... hopefully we´ll have good weather in lower saxony in Northern Germany.

Cats on Tuesday

Finally my COT- Post for today. I´m busy with many things. Tomorrow is the last schoolday here before summer holidays for the next 6 weeks.
I have bad news....Olli got a fungal infection....it´s on his neck ...look here...
He was a t the vet and received this medicine....not easy to give our cats pills but Olli is a very good boy . He takes the pills easily.
A fungal infection is bad. It is contagious for all pets and humans. We have to take care and clean our hands as often as possible
I don´t want him to near to the kids and the cats...but that is not possible as you can see on the last picture. I bought a good disinfectants for hands and carpets and furniture.
Please cross fingers that the infection quickly passes . If you have any ideas what I can do else ???

Cats and Sunday

Happy Sunday, dear furry and human friends. It´s summer beginning and the lavender flowers blue .... but we can not sit outside......
...because this is the sky today over our house in Lower Saxony in Northern Germany...
.......Luna is looking for protection against the rain in the tree house. The leaves which looks like autumn are from my Fallopia...it don´t like the place where I plant it and change the color of the leaves...that fits to the autumn-like weather.

Hello dear furry and human friends.
Olli has a large scratch on his nose. We think he had a fight with one of the mancats here in our street. I treated the scratch with a ointment for wounds. I said to him you better should not provoke the other cats. He dared to annoy the other cats...that is the result...
Today I took the camera with me at the dogwalk to show you that Luzie also love it to walk with us.
She takes care at the driveway ....
...and use the sidewalk too. She is a good girl as you can see it on the video...

Cat Art Sunday

How is the weather today! Luna asked the tiny wooden weather house .
I found this weather house from the ore mountains on a fleamarket for 1 Euro. It is not in a good shape but maybe I can restore it.
The weather house is like a barometer. The green wooden woman should show us sunshine and the man should show us rain. I think this barometer is wrong it shows sunshine but we have rain....
Today for Cat Art Sunday I can show you the gifts from the kids for mothers day. I received this pink "Hello Kitty" cell phone sock and a tiny orange cat charm for my phone. Isn´t she sweet ?
You can see my kids knows that their mom loves cats....

Finally Friday

Steffen is happy. He received Snail Mail from the Kids Mail Swap from Pigeon Pair!
Steffen freut sich über viel Post. Er hat am Kids Mail Swap von Pigeon Pair teilgenommen .
He learned to know new friends from USA and Australia. Now he is motivated to learn more and better english at school .Er hat neue Brieffreunde in Amerika und Australien und will bald wieder schreiben. Nun ist er hochmotiviert in der Schule schnell viel Englisch zu lernen. Nach den sommerferien kommt er in die 3. Klasse.
Luna here : Good news friends....the vaccum cleaner works no more !!!
Luna hier: Gute Nachrichten Freunde, der Staubsauger geht nicht mehr!!!

The human here: Oh no, all the cat hair and dog fur...I need my vaccum cleaner !!!

Cats on the Window
Dear furry and human friends, we have bad and cold weather again in northern Germany. It is today only 11°C/ 51°F and we have rain. This is typical for June here, we call it "Schafskaelte" sheep cold. It means the farmers shear the sheeps fur for the first time in June. Then it is going to be cold again ... the poor sheeps are without the warm wool. Although our cats have their warm fur , since the weather is cold again they ask me more to come in through the kitchen window.
Luna is has a very loud voice....I can hear her immediately....
Ollis voice is not loud enough and he had to wait longer....look at his expression.....
Since I found an old pillow of the kids( that they don´t use no longer) and put it in the doggy bed Luna found out how comfortable it is to have a nap in it.
More close is not possible with Luna and Luzie .....the picture is rare...I love it to see both on the stairs without hiss...

Cats on Tuesday

Hello dear furry and human COT friends. We had been off for longer, because we had here in Germany a longer whitsun weekend and free of work and school.
Punctually on whitsun sunday my poeny starts to flower. We call this plant in Germany Pfingstrose - Whitsun rose.
On saturday we had the DFB Cup in Germany and our favorite team "Werder Bremen" was in the Endgame. Olli helps us watching the game and our team ......WINS. Steffens favorit dress for the weekend was the WERDER Jersey.
We had wonderful sunny weather for whitsun. The kids enjoyed the camping site lake for swimming.
This is Merlin. He comes with his humans for the long weekend to stay at the camping site.
We become friends....he is a very friendly cat and we think about to take Olli with us next time too.
Merlin had a funny idea....he used the Mole hole for his litterbox.....it is easy in the loose mound of earth . Not funny for us humans...we have to watch where we walk.
