Sonntag, Sunny sunday

Heute hatten wir endlich mal wieder Sonnenschein. Nach all den Regentagen freut sich Mensch und Katz. Today we had finally sunshine....a sunny sunday. Ich habe Luzie heute ganz früh in der Morgensonne auf der Biotonne gefunden und konnte gleich ein Foto machen. I found Luzie this morning during her sun bath on the waste can in the morning sun.

Ein gern gesehener Gast in unserem Garten, die Libelle auf dem fleissigen Lieschen.

Alle Blüten und Blätter aus dem Garten eingefangen in handgemachtem Papier. Papierschöpfen habe ich in den Sommerferien von meiner Cousine Cordula gelernt. Es hat viel Spaß gemacht.
All flowers and leaves from the garden catched in handmade paper. I learned to make paper this summer from my cousin Cordula. I enjoyed that making of the papers.

Cats on Tuesday

Today I want to show you a few pictures of our daily visitor. Do you remember, a few weeks before I showed you Clarence ? Here he is again.

The last days Clarence visited Friedas last place in our garden every day. Here he has a nap near her grave.
We don´t know who he is and where he live. Because his busy visits on Friedas place every day I fed him.......sometimes ;o)
He is now very friendly and I can pet him. At first we thought he is a straycat but yesterday I noticed that he received a flea treatment .
Maybe he is a real outdoor mancat. I´ll take a photo to find out where he lives.
Luna loves Clarence...he is her boyfriend.... here she found a rain safed place in the garden. Yes we have already rain here in northern Germany....it seems fall is coming soon...
I received the last picture with an E-mail from my friend Susann. It is her new Corgi-Puppy. I´m so excited to see her next week. Then I do a lot of photos from the sweet little Doggie girl.

Cats on Tuesday

Since Frieda is dead I noticed that Luna is more often close to me. She behaves differently.
I don´t know if it is a rank-order-change.
But I don´t notice that with Luzie. She seems to be like every day before.
Here you can see that Luna is near me to comfort me!

I took this Photo in Hamburg a few days before Frieda died. I dot know why. I´m always looking for special motives. The sign means in English "comfort bridge" Trostbrücke.
The kitchen window sill was one of Friedas favorite places. Yesterday I found there Luna sleeping. "Life goes on"
Frieda is dead....and we will never forget her...but I have two other cats and they demand remains my full attention and that is doing well!!!

FRIEDA

Liebe Freunde, wir haben eine traurige Nachricht. Unsere Katze FRIEDA ist am Mittwochabend überfahren worden. Steffen hat sie auf der Strasse zum Feld gefunden. Wir denken sie war sofort tot.
Dear Friends, we have sad news. Our Cat FRIEDA is killed by a car on Wednesday. Steffen found her on the street . We think she was dead immediately.
Frieda wurde nur 2 Jahre alt. Sie war eine Fundkatze. Im Frühjahr 2006 habe ich sie mit 2 anderen Kätzchen in unserem Garten gesehen. Die anderen Kätzchen waren bald verschwunden, aber Frieda blieb. Sie war schmutzig von der Futtersuche in den Mülltonnen. Ich habe sie gewaschen und ihr Futter gegeben. Sie war so dankbar, dass sie bleiben durfte.
Frieda was only 2 years old. She was a straycat. In spring 2006 I saw her at first in our garden with 2 other kitten. The other kitten dissapeared but Frieda decided to stay. She was dirty from the trash can where she find her food. I washed her and gave her food. She was so grateful.

Frieda we miss you !

Hello Friends, yesterday I showed a few photos from Venice. Today I have two pictures from Moritz in Venice.
Can you believe that he was the one and only German cat at the Rialto Bridge in Venice ?
I have not seen any cats in Venice. I think they all sleep during the day and only come out at night when it is quiet and cool in the city.

Frieda found a new place to nap. She is a brave cat on the big Motorcycle....Easy Rider Frieda !!!


Frieda, Luna and Luzie received a new toy. It is from our friend Birgit. She sent a package with our ATC Swap last month and even has a gift for our cats.
