Cat Art and easy like Sunday

Hello and welcome to another Cat Art Sunday.
I received this January ATC from my friend Karla. We had a Calendar ATC Swap with our friends Birgit and Anja. You can see all ATCs in my Blog Sammelleidenschaft.

Hallo und willkommen zu einem neuen Cat Art Sunday. Dieses Januar ATC ist von meiner Freundin Karla. Wir hatten einen ATC Kalender Swap mit unseren Freundinnen Birgit und Anja. Mehr davon könnt ihr in meinem Blog Sammelleidenschaft sehen, wenn ihr wollt.

I found a children book with old animal stories in a book fleamarket. This colorful picture is the title.
Ich habe ein Kinderbuch mit Tierfabeln und Geschichten auf einem Bücherflohmarkt gefunden. Allein das Titelbild ist schon schön.
This is a Kids Poem with a little kitten. Mietzchen is a word for Meezy or Kitty. It is about why cats have often a bath .
Dieses niedliche Kindergedicht von einem Mietzchen ist auch in dem Buch gewesen. Ihr könnt es lesen, wenn ihr das Bild vergrößert.
It is not cold like yesterday today. We have 1,6°C today and the snow is melting. But they pronounce more snow tonight.
Luna is sitting on the table on the window.....observing the birds in the garden...enlarge the photo and you can see the blackbird.
Es ist heute nicht mehr ganz so kalt. Bei 1.6°C fängt der Schnee an zu schmelzen. Allerdings haben sie neuen Schneefall für heute Nacht vorhergesagt. Luna liegt auf meinem Tisch am Fenster und beobachtet die Vögel im Garten.

Short Friday

It is a boring Friday and we have snow again ...we can not go out.......booriiiing....but look what I can see through my window !!!! Es ist einer dieser langweiligen Freitage . es hat mal wieder geschneit und wir können nicht raus....laaaaangweilig.... aber seht mal, was da draussen ist...
....bird channel on WindowTV.......we want go out!!!!! ......den Vogelsender im Fenster Fernseher...der Tag ist gerettet, lass uns raus!!!!

Cats on Tuesday

Hello dear furry and human friends,
you mean that looks like spring here in northern Germany ??? NO !!! It is very very cold. We have -13°C/ 9°F here this morning. I took the picture of Luna on the windowsill this morning but the springflowers are growing in the house and if you look on the flowerpot near Luna outside, you can see that there is snow on it. Ihr denkt es sieht nach Frühling aus ? Nein!!! Es ist hier noch kälter geworden. Heute morgen sind es -13°C. Ich habe das Foto von Luna gerade eben erst gemacht. Die Frühlingsblumen blühen im Haus und wenn ihr genau hinschaut, könnt ihr draussen neben Luna Schnee auf dem Blumentopf sehen.
Do you think that are too many cats in our kitchen ? Findus invites himself for a meal here ! His people are not very reliable. Denkt ihr auch es wären zu viele Katzen in unserer Küche ?Findus hat sich selbst eingeladen. Ihr wisst ja, dass seine Leute nicht sehr zuverlässig sind!
They had a peaceful meal but for the best sleeping place it comes to some struggle of power.
These paws are from Luzie and the fur on the paw is from Luna. She devends her favorite place is on the sofa . ..Luna dares to jump on the sofa too .....so she leaves some fur....

Nach einer friedlichen Mahlzeit kam es leider zu einem kleinen Machtkampf um den besten Schlafplatz zwischen Luzie and Luna. Die Pfote auf dem Bild gehört Luzie und das Fell darunter ist von Luna. Luzie hat ihren Lieblingsplatz auf dem Sofa verteidigt und gewonnen. Leider musste Luna dabei etwas Fell lassen....

Mancat Monday

Hello dear friends, sorry had been too busy for posting. Hallo liebe Freunde, leider hatten wir zu viel zu tun und konnten nicht posten.

Here it is furry ( -7°C ) cold outside....and we have snow again...
This was all what Olli did on sunday.... It was pretty warm at the woodstove. Hier ist es ziemlich kalt ( -7C )und es hat schon wieder geschneit....also, das war alles was Olli am Sonntag gemacht hat....er hatte es schön warm am Ofen.

Cats on Tuesday

Hello dear furry and human friends, Olli and the tabby neighbor cat Findus are best friends. Findus came to visit us every day. They play and walk together outside and miss each other if one is not there.
Hallo liebe COT Freunde. Olli und der Nachbarkater Findus sind beste Freunde. Findus kommt jeden Tag zu Besuch. Dann spielen sie zusammen oder machen die Gegend unsicher.
Olli is the oldest cat, I don´t know how old is Findus . Maybe he will be one year . Olli love to wash Findus and Findus enjoys it very much to be washed. Olli ist älter als Findus. ich weiß nicht genau wie alt Findus ist. Er müßte etwa ein Jahr alt sein schätze ich. Olli liebt es Findus zu putzen und Findus liebt es geputzt zu werden.
After that they start wrestling.....Nach dem Putzen wird gekämpft....
....until one srceams or hiss... Unfortunately Findus is unspayed. We hope his owner let him spay soon. If he becomes a mancat that can be the end of these sweet friendship.Bis einer heult und faucht. Leider ist Findus noch nicht kastriert. Wir hoffen, dass seine Besitzer das demnächst machen werden, sonst könnte das schnell das Ende der Freundschaft sein.

At least a little Video from Luzie in the snow. Luzie met a foreign cat in the bushes. Hier zum Schluss noch ein Video von Luzie im Schnee. Hier trifft sie eine fremde Katze im Gebüsch.

Tonight the snow starts to melt. It is mild outside with 2,5°C. Unfortunately it is totally wet today. Heute nacht hat es angefangen zu tauen. Draussen ist es richtig mild mit 2,5°C. Leider ist es nun überall total nass und ungemütlich.

Cat Art Sunday

Hello dear Cat Art friends! We got more snow again this night.... look what happens with these cute polyresin couple on my kitchen windowsill. It got a white coat .
Hallo liebe Cat Art Freunde ! Es hat heute Nacht schon wieder geschneit....seht mal hier...die Polyresinkatzen auf meiner Küchenfensterbank haben einen weissen Mantel bekommen.

Cats on Tuesday

Hello dear furry and human friends, here it is furry cold ( -4°C )and we have still a lot of snow. All cats are in the house . There are no mice and the birds are safe in the tree. So they don´t much move over the day except wrestling with the neighboring tabby cat.

My sweet friend Claudie from Canada sent me these cute little book for Christmas.
No, it is not for humans.....it´s only for kitties.
Look Olli, maybe you better should read that ...
I think Olli needs more movement or less food. We don´t know why. He gets not more food than the other kitties but look at these tummy!
Wow....I can not imagine that he feels very well with this weight. If that goes on he will not be able to catch mice when spring comes...
Nevertheless he looks cute laying in the doggies bed with his pink nosie!

Daisy on Sunday

Hello dear furry and human friends, Low pressure area Daisy comes over Northern Germany with a lot of new snow. Here you can see our street this morning. Car driving is only possible with winter tires.
Hallo liebe Freunde, Tief Daisy hat uns fest im Griff und brachte eine Menge Neuschnee heute Nacht. Das ist unsere Strasse heute morgen. Befahren nur mit Winterreifen möglich...




The birds are hungry and we decided to feed though we have kitties. This is a kitty safe place for the birdies. We feed the blackbirds with fresh apples. They need 2 apples every day!
Die Vögel finden nichts mehr und wir haben beschlossen sie an einem relativ Katzensicheren Busch zu füttern. Die Amseln benötigen 2 frische Äpfel am Tag.
The cats don´t like snow very much. They go out and play for a few minutes before they prefer to lay in front of the woodstove again. Die Katzen mögen den Schnee nicht so besonders. Sie spielen eine kurze Zeit mit dem Schnee und finden es dann am Ofen doch gemütlicher.
This is our Christmas tree. We decorate it with birdseed rings. Das ist unser alter Weihnachtsbaum. Geschmückt mit Schnee und Meisenringen tut er nun auf der Terrasse gute Dienste.
It looks like a comfortable but furry cold seat....the forgotten chair near the frozen pond. Was hier wie ein weicher bequemer Platz aussieht ...ist der vergessene und verschneite Stuhl am zugefrorenen Teich.
Doggie Patch is looking for something in the deep snow. Patch sucht im Neuschnee nach einem vergrabenen Knochen......

Cats on Tuesday

Dear furry and human friends, this is the view of our street near our house. It is very very cold. In other times you always can see a strolling cat but now are all cats warm and safe in their houses.
Olli is glad about the soccer scarf of the teenage beanboy. This scarf is always the reason for a dispute between the boys ......he has the wrong color...In our town is green white orange the right color.Olli doesn´t matter that mainly the scarf is warm...
Luna looks always beautiful on her girly wicker chair.
Luzie loves always to lay her head on any soft toy. At first she chewed on the fur before she fall asleep.
The little tabby neighboring cat is sleeping on the bench. His people are back from holidays in egypt ( mmmmmm furry warm there) They told me the housesitter never came during their holidays to feed the cat and empty the letterbox. What a unreliable friend! I don´t like to think about what could happens when the the tabby had been in their house and the house sitter came not around....

Happy New Year

We wish you all a Happy New Year.
Here you can see how Olli celebrated the New Years Eve...The kitties had a lot of fun with party.
The humans year was ending with a long traditional New Years Eve - Silvester- Walk in our town with hundreds of people. Wir wünschen allen ein frohes neues Jahr 2010. Das alte Jahr haben wir mit dem traditionellen Silvestermarsch in unserem Ort beendet. Hier ein paar eindrucksvolle Bilder.
We got a lot of snow . That was unsusual for us in North Germany.
Hier hatte es gestern sehr viel geschneit. Untypisch für unsere Gegend.
It was a lovely walk at the countryside. Along at snowy fields... Es war wunderschön durch die verscheiten Felder zu laufen.
A beautiful Lower Saxony Farmhouse. Ein verschneites Bauernhaus...
At the half distance of the walk was a big meeting in the forest with fried sausages from and hot wine and hot chocolate for warming. Auf der Hälfte der Strecke gab es ein großes Treffen mit rostbratwurst , Glühwein und heißem Kakao für die Kinder. Auf den weiten Rückweg hatten die Kids keine Lust mehr aber er war unvermeidlich.

Happy New Year! Frohes neues Jahr !
